9. Be taught by qualified and competent tutors who have appropriate subject related knowledge as well as knowledge and understanding of adults learning needs.

10. Support for study at all levels, e.g. books, IT, tutorials and local study support centres to encourage all types of learning including distance learning.

11. Structures of social support, e.g. dependant care, childcare, travel costs and other financial assistance.
